This is a plain-language overview of using MemoirNest. Share only the memories you and the storyteller are comfortable entering.
Your account is your story space.
Your projects and conversations are accessed through your signed-in account. If you start a story before adding an email, it is stored privately for that browser session only until you save it with your email; unsaved trial stories may be deleted after 30 days of inactivity. Do not share your login. Before entering another person’s memories or photos, ask their permission and agree who should see the result.
AI helps with the draft. You review it.
Your answers are processed by AI services to ask follow-up questions and create drafts. The writing instructions ask for details to stay grounded in the conversation, but AI can make mistakes. Review names, dates and personal details with the storyteller before sharing.
Saved stories stay readable.
After subscription access ends, saved stories remain readable in your account. New interviews and paid writing tools pause. Digital Keepsake exports you previously purchased remain available for those projects.
